Wagashi Making & Tea Ceremony Experience
Wagashi are the exquisite traditional sweets served alongside matcha in Japan, and in this hands-on class in Ginza you learn to make them yourself. After a short introduction to what wagashi are and where they come from, an instructor guides you through making two different types by hand, shaping and colouring each one. You then take your matcha ticket through to the tea room and enjoy your creations with a freshly prepared bowl of matcha, followed by a photo session. Traditional Japanese crafts are on sale at the venue if you have time to browse afterwards.
